Mitchell earned a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta. Prior to that, he completed a bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education at Mount Royal University. Throughout his life, Mitchell has participated in a variety of sports, including football, hockey, ultimate frisbee, golf, biking, and running. He understands the frustration of being held back by an injury and aims to help his patients regain their confidence and reduce the risk of re-injury by getting them back to their normal activities.

Mitchell has a keen interest in knee injuries, particularly ACL injuries, for which he holds advanced care certifications. He has also taken additional courses in Sports Rehabilitation, Knee Injuries, Shoulder Injuries, Strength and Conditioning, and much more.

In his free time, Mitchell enjoys trail running, hiking, trail biking, and walking his dog, Gainer.
