Dr. Dionne Tatlow

Chiropractor

Born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Dr. Dionne Tatlow travelled to Edmonton, Alberta to complete a Bachelors of Physical Education, specializing in the health and wellness of children and youth. A keen interest in anatomy and manual therapy took her to the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, where she obtained her degree as a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC); Graduating Magna Cum Laude with Clinic Honors and receiving the CCR Clinical Radiology Proficiency Award and Istrati Memorial Family Award. After practicing for 6 years, a love of education took her back to school to obtain a Masters of Science, completing her thesis on Injury Surveillance in Open Water Swimmers.

Following completion of her Masters and filled with a combined love of education, manual medicine and swimming, she accepted a teaching position with the Kinesiology Department at Okanagan College and is excited to be practicing in Penticton.

Dionne is full body Active Release Techniques® (ART), Graston Therapies and Activator Methods trained. She has completed additional accreditation with The Running Clinic and has worked with both masters and age-group swim teams, Junior A and Collegiate level hockey teams and various collegiate-level athletes (swimming, athletics and soccer). She believes in lifelong education and thoroughly enjoys advancing her education, therapeutic & ‘problem-solving’ skills through various continuing education seminars and courses.

In her spare time you’ll likely find her in the water somewhere… and on the best days, her pup & husband will be swimming &/or paddling beside her!
