Chris Rutherford

Chris completed his Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of Victoria in 2017. Since then, He became a CSEP certified personal trainer and worked in cardiopulmonary rehab with Interior Health where he honed his skills for injury specific rehab in a clinical setting.

Chris’s passion for competitive sports began at an early age and he continued to practice his craft in powerlifting competitions; this ‘live what you learn’ approach has helped him understand the principles of training on a personal level. Along with developing a customized exercise program, Chris is a firm believer in the importance of proper nutrition for recovery, particularly when exercise tolerance is low.

He has lived abroad in Australia as well as spent months backpacking throughout South America, Asia, and North America. This along with Chris’s extensive background in hospitality ensures comfortable training sessions with those of any background.

He currently spend much of my free time golfing, hiking, or in the weight room.
